God is watching

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.”

In the course of our hectic dally lives, we can easily forget that we live every moment before the eyes of Holy God. During life’s mundane routines, our weak moments, our failures, and our victories, God is watching us. Holy God is watching us. He is fully aware of all we are going through, all we are struggling with, all we do for His glory and all we sacrifice to obey Him.

He walks with us through every journey. He sees every tear. He knows every hurt. And He is determined to bless and comfort us along the way. Psalm 14:2 reminds us that “The Lord looks down from Heaven upon the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.” Holy God wants every day to be a journey in fellowship with Him. He waits for us to join Him, and not walk alone.

Do you ever fear you are facing hardship alone? Do you ever think no one knows or cares? Do temptations afflict your soul and you feel you are fighting by yourself? Remember that God is watching and He misses nothing. Therefore pray “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips” (Psalm 14:3). Sometimes in our struggles, we want to blame God as if He does not care or does nothing to help. Remember James 4:2 says we “do not have because we do not ask.” Because God is watching, He already understands what you need. Trust His goodness and ask. “For He knows the secrets of the heart” (Psalm 44:21).

So, “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23) And “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them” (Psalm 14:2). As you go about your life today, be assured that God is watching. Holy God is watching.
